Fisherman Barbecue

Every community in Konkan could boast of a variety of traditional, homemade masalas that they use to cook seafood but perhaps nothing is as simple yet brilliant as this one from the Goa’s fishing community itself. This barbecue masala mirrors the simple and humble lives of the fisherfolk along the Konkan Coast. Having to make do with very few spices and ingredients, and that too in very little quantities, this masala recipe was a product of necessity but has come to define the best for barbecue recipes all over. It compliments both large and small fish.
